Coal Mac, Inc. is a subsidiary of Arch Coal.  In 2006, Coal-Mac revitalized these former coal company buildings, built in the early 70’s by its parent company, Arch Coal, and now operates administrative and engineering services from these offices, which, interestingly enough, are located on a former surface mined site at the Wood Products Industrial Park.  Approximately 35 jobs were retained in Mingo County by the reutilization of these buildings.
